The Rotary Club of Kapolei Sunset and Island Pacific Academy (IPA) Interact Club (Rotary for high school) orchestrated "Cupcakes for a Cause" - a fundraiser for PolioPlus to commemorate World Polio Day. We partnered with Cupcake and Things Bakery to sell cupcakes with $1 per cupcake going to the PolioPlus Foundation. We educated members of our community about polio and the efforts involved to eradicate this disease globally. IPA Interact students shared polio facts with their peers and prepped signs and flyers for our event.
