Rotary Clubs are helping clean the Ala Wai canal!
Can you imagine a fishable/swimmable Ala Wai?  We can!
Rotary is partnering with The Genki Ala Wai Project to help make a swimmable/fishable Ala Wai canal.  You can participate by volunteering to help make balls that digest and oxygenate sludge, or help throw the balls into the canal or by donating to help cover the cost of the balls.  We made this years goal of 5000 Genki Balls (at the cost of $5 each).  Total cost for 5000 is $25,000.00.  The ultimate goal over a 7 year period is 200,000 balls!
