What is Rotary?
Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who
see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe,
in our communities, and in ourselves.
With 46,000+ clubs worldwide, we are both an international organization and a local community leader.
Together we lead change in our own backyards and across the world.
If you have an interest in joining Rotarians across the globe
in carrying out the motto of
Service Above Self
,
then feel free to contact us,
connect with us at a future club assembly and learn more.

Club History
The Rotary Club of Kapolei Sunset was chartered on March 3rd, 2009.
At that time the club consisted of 25 members with Sharon Rolirad as our President.
The Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunset was our sponsor club, Ayman El-Dakhakhni was our D5000 District
and the Rotary International President was D.K. Lee.
The Future of Rotary Is In Your Hands
was the theme that year, and it still holds true today.
We have one Charter member left in our small but mighty club, Alicia DuPree.
She has seen our club through many changes over the years, but she is still happy to be a proud member
of the Rotary Club of Kapolei Sunset. We are happy and grateful to have her as an awesome member of our Club!
