Members of the Rotary Club of Kapolei Sunset (RCKS) and our RKCS "Friends of Rotary" members teamed up to spread holiday cheer to the U.S. VETS, Women In Need (WIN) home, and the Ho'omalu Children's Shelter. We worked with our IPA Interactors (Rotary for high school) to assemble gift bags, toiletries, and many other needed items for each facility!
RCKS members, "Friends of Rotary" members, and IPA Interactors enjoyed a day of assembling items we've been purchasing over the past month for the needy. Each facility sent us a wish list and we worked hard to collect the needed items on the wish list. We purchased men, women and children's new underwear and bralettes, hair brushes and combs, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, body wash, soap, deodorant, socks, razors, microwavable food, and laundry soap. We also assembled gift bags for the Women In Need home filled with goodies to brighten their holidays. It's our way of serving with aloha!
